Melalui pendekatan berbasis teks dengan menggunakan teknik membaca scanning dan
skimming serta time line peserta didik dapat membedakan, menangkap makna, dan
menyusun teks Recount lisan dan tulis tentang terkait peristiwa bersejarah dengan
memperhatikan fungsi ocial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan secara benar dan sesuai
konteks.
h. Materi Pembelajaran :
1) Fungsi sosial
Melaporkan, menceritakan, berbagi pengalaman, mengambil teladan, membanggakan.
2) Struktur teks
- Struktur mencakup orientasi, urutan kejadian/ kegiatan, dan orientasi ulang .
3) Unsur kebahasaan
- Kata kerja dalam Simple Past tense, Past Continuous, Present Perfect
- Kata kerja untuk menunjukkan kegiatan (material verbs) ; kata kerja untuk mengungkapkan
perasaan (mental verbs)
- Adverbia penunjuk dan penghubung waktu, first, then, after, before, at last, finallys.
- Ucapan, tekanan kata, intonasi, ejaan, tanda baca, dan tulisan tangan

a. Pendahuluan
Pada pendahuluan coba kalian bedakan dua teks berbeda dibawah ini sebelum belajar pada materi
ini .Apakah kalian menemukamn perbedaannya baik dari fungsi sosial struktur teks dan unsur
kebahasaannya .

Cristiano Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
Manchester United paid £12 million to sign him in 2003 - a record fee for a player of his age. In
the 2004 FA Cup Final, he scored Manchester's first three goals and helped them capture the
championship. In 2008, he set a franchise record for goals scored. In 2009, Real Madrid paid a
record $131 million for his service.

It was through his dad's work as an equipment manager at a boy's club that Ronaldo was
first introduced to the game of soccer. By the time he was 10 years old, he was already
recognized as a phenomenon - a kid who ate, slept and drank the game. "All he wanted to do as a
boy was playing football," his godfather, Fernao Sousa, recalled for British reporters, adding, "He
loved the game so much that he'd miss meals or escape out his bedroom window with a ball
when he was supposed to be doing his homework."

By his early teens, Ronaldo's talent and legend had grown considerably. After a stint with
Nacional da liha da Madeira, he signed with Sporting Portugal in 2001. That same year, at the
tender age of 16, Ronaldo turned heads with a impressing performance against Manchester
United, wowing even his opponents with his footwork and deft skill. He made such an impression
that a number of United players asked their manager to try and sign the young player. It wasn't
long before the club paid Ronaldo's team more than £12 million for his services - a record fee for
a player of his age.

TEXT 2

Once upon a time, there lived a kind young prince named Jonathan. He was
loved and adored by his people. His two close friends were Peter, the
servant of the palace and Franklin Greedy, the son of an Aristocrat. One
day, the Prince, Peter, and Franklin were walking through the forest.
Suddenly, a group of bandits attacked those three boys near an old house
in the middle of the forest. They entered the old house and blockaded
the gate and the doors. The three boys were trapped inside the house.
Franklin was very terrified and asked the Prince to surrender
immediately, but Peter was not. He urged and supported the Prince not to
give up. The Prince decided not to surrender because he realized that he
would be a hostage for the bandits to ask for ransom to his father.
Meanwhile, Franklin was so scared and wanted to make a deal with the
bandits. It made Peter suspicious about Franklin’s behavior. So he quietly
made up a plan for him and the Prince to escape.
Early at dawn, Franklin opened the gate and opened the door. The
bandits entered the house to search the Prince but there was nothing.
Suddenly they heard a horse running outside the house and saw over the
window that the Prince and Peter were riding away from the bandits. They
were very angry at Franklin and took him with them while Peter and the
Prince went safely going back to the Kingdom.

2. Setelah memahami isi materi, berlatihlah memperluas pengalaman belajar melalui tugas atau
kegiatan belajar baik yang harus kalian lakukan sendiri maupun bersama teman sebangku
atau teman lainnya sesuai instruksi guru.
3. Kerjakan tugas-tugas di buku kerja atau di lembar portofolio yang sudah kalian siapkan
sebelumnya.
4. Apabila kalian yakin sudah paham dan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam kegiatan
belajar, kalian boleh sendiri atau mengajak teman lain yang sudah siap untuk mengikuti tes
formatif agar kalian dapat belajar ke UKBM berikutnya (jika belum memenuhi KKM kalian
harus mempelajari ulang materi ini kemudian minta tes lagi sampai memenuhi KKM).
5. Dalam pembelajaran ini akan terjadi peristiwa menentukan, membedakan, dan menangkap
makna secara kontekstual terkait fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks recount
lisan dan tulis, dalam bentuk biografi terkait peristiwa bersejarah

menjadi bahan utama untuk kalian bisa sukses mengikuti kegiatan belajar berikutnya . Maka dari itui kalian
harus tetap semangat, pantang menyerah .
Apabila ada kosa kata yang baru, kalian pajang disetiap sudut dimana kalian bisa selalu membaca sehingga
selalu ingat, atau buat sesuai kreasi kalian sehingga setiap hari bisa menambah kosa kata.
Pada kegiatan belajar 1 ini kalian akan menentukan atau memilah yang manakah yang merupakan fungsi
sosial, unsur kebahasaan, dan struktur teks dari salah satu teks yang telah kalian baca sebelumnya kedalam
bentuk konsep mapping di bawah ini.

Charles Robert Darwin was born in Shrewsbury, England, on February 12, 1809. He came from
a wealthy family and never had to work. He studied medicine and theology. In 1831 he
graduated from University of Cambridge with a degree of theology.

He began a career as a scientist quite by chance. On December 27,1831, 22 years old Charles
Darwin joined the crew of the HMS Beagle as a naturalist.The five years expedition collected
hydrographic, geologic, and meteorologic data from South America and many other regions
around the world. Darwin's own observation on this voyage led to his theory of natural
selection.

Charles Darwin was greatly influenced by the geologist Adam Sedgwick and naturalist John
Henslow in his development of the theory of natural selection, which was to become the
foundation concept supporting the theory of evolution. Darwin's theory holds that
environmental effects lead to varying degrees of reproductive success in individuals and
groups of organisms. Natural selection tends to promote adaptation in organisms when
necessary for survival. This revolutionary theory was published in 1859 in Darwin's now
famous On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection.

My name is Deni Suwanda. my friends call me deni.I was born in Bandar Lampung, december  18th
1993. I'm 22 years old. I am the first child of 3 siblings. My little sister named Hani she is number two.
And the third is my young brother Irfan. I am son of couple bambang Hasim and Junaida.

I start my education at elementary school 2 way dadi. Since i was a child, i really love math and
english. I learn to count something from my father. He is math teacher. I also like english because  I
often watch english movie without my parents arround me.
After graduated from elementary school, I register my self in senior high 2 bandar lampung and I’ll be
grateful can   accepted in. i learn math diligently because my math techer very humble and also
beautiful. after 3 years I continue to senior high 1 Bandar Lampung. in the morning I took school.
after school over, I take course english and math . I wish I can get enter in qualified state university.

I finally graduated from my senior high school.i continue my education in state lampung university.
now i am a student of university. I take economic  major. I wish one day I can be a good economist
who can improve economic sector in indonesia.
