C. Tujuan Pembelajaran
Setelah melalui serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran baik individu maupun kelompok, di akhir
pembelajaran siswa dapat:
1. Menganalisis fungsi sosial, struktut teks dan unsur kebahasaan dari sebuah teks
descriptive secara berkelompok. (diferensiasi proses)
2. Menemukan informasi rinci terkait teks descriptive secara berkelompok.
3. Menyimpulkan isi teks descriptive dengan kalimat sederhana dan menggunakan kalimat
sendiri secara mandiri. (diferensiasi produk)

Descriptive text atau deskriptif teks adalah suatu teks yang menjelaskan atau mendeskripsikan
orang orang, binatang, tempat, atau suatu benda baik bentuknya, sifat-sifatnya, jumlahnya dan lain-
lain. Tujuan dari descriptive text adalah untuk menjelaskan, menggambarkan, atau mengungkapkan
seseorang atau suatu benda.

Maimun Palace
Maimun palace is a tourist destination in North Sumatera whis has historiacl and cultural values
located at Jalan Brigjen Katamso, Aur, Medan< this palace is iconic to Medan.
The building stands on an area of 2,772 square meters and is the heritage of the Deli Sultanate it
was designed by an italian architect and built in 1888 under the rule of Sultan Makmun Al Rasyid, the
Sultan of Deli.
The palace has stunning architecture it combines islamic, Dutch and Malay architectures with a
dominant color of yellow, typical of Malay. This two-storey building is divided into three parts, namely, the
main building, left and right wing parts. It is supported by 82 octagonal stone pillars and 43 wooden pillars.
The first flooor displays antiques such as old furrniture and ornaments, while the second floor is
used as the residence of the sultanate families. There are 13 rooms on the second floor, 7 of which are in the
main building, 3 rooms in the left wing part and 3 other rooms in the right wing part.

Indonesia is one of the countries that is located in southeast asia. Indonesia is known
as an archipelago country because it consist of many island. This tropical country is also well
known with richness of cultures, languages and tourist destinations.
Like other countries, Indonesia also has own philosophy on its national flag. The color
of the national flag is red and white. Those colors have deep meaning for Indonesians. Red
means brave and white means purity.
Indonesia has two seasons. They are dry and wet seasons. The dry season starts from
June to October. The weather is hot in this season. The sun shines so brightly. After the dry
season, wet season comes. It starts from November to march. It’s almost rainy every day. Heavi
rain often occurs during this season.

Mutun beach
Mutun beach is one of the beautiful beaches in Lampung. It is located in Sukajaya lempasing pesawaran,
lampung. It is around 19 km from Bandar Lampung.
There is a white sand and clear ocean. You can do some interesting activities like sliding on the water
boom, playing canoe, riding a banana boat and swimming on the clear ocean. Besides, we can have picnics
too. There are some gazebo that we can rant on. Furthermore, it is very crowded on the weekend and
holiday time. It is because Mutun beach is a stunning place
