ABSTRACT
This research conducted at PT. Eramas Coconut Industries Medan. As for the purpose of
this study was to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment to job satisfaction of
production employees at PT. Eramas Coconut Industries Medan. Work motivation and work
environment as the independent of variable (X1X2) while employee job satisfaction as the dependent
variable (Y).
The problem in this research was fluctuations in employees turnover and the increase of
absences every year. That was seen from turnover data and company absenteeism. The sample of this
study was taken as many as 73 respondents from the population calculated using the Slovin formula.
Data was getting from the questionnare and then processed to be tested with statiistics through the
SPSS program.
The results of test carried out show that work motivation and work environment have a
positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of production employees at PT. Eramas Coconut
Industries Medan.
