MAGNETIC PLUG GUIDELINE

Petunjuk ini harus di ikuti setiap saat bila nilai rating di masukkan ke dalam service
sheet.
The following guidelines should be followed at all times when rating scores are
entered onto service sheets.

RATING A:
Tampilan ini adalah keausan biasa. Isinya hanya semacam pasta abu-abu yg lembut, tidak ada serpihan
atau pecahan metal. Setelah plug dibersihlkan kembalikan untuk difungsikan

This display is normal wear. Contents are only fine Grey paste, no shiny chips or metal fragments.
OK to return to work after plug is cleaned

RATING B:
Tahap selanjutnya menunjukkan tahap awal keausan bearing & race-nya. Isinya partikel metal kecil yang
bersinar. Tidak ada serpihan atau pecahan besar. Ratingnya dicatat pada service sheet untuk memonitor
pada periode yang lebih dekat. Setelah plug dibersihkan kembalikan untuk di operasikan.

Advanced stages of fines showing early stages of bearing race and roller wear. Contents are small shiny
metal particles. No chips or large fragments. Rating noted on service sheets for closer monitoring over
coming period. OK to return to work after plug is cleaned

RATING C:
Partikel metal yang bersinar. Tahapan lebih lanjut dari kerusakan bearing race dan roller. Isinya serpihan
kecil yang bersinar. Pada final drive. periksa differential magnetic plug dan sebaliknya guna memastikan
bukan komponen lain yang menjadi sumber. Beritahukan Group leader. Monitoring dilanjutkan. Setelah plug
dibersihkan kembalikan untuk di operasikan.

Shiny metal particles. More advanced stages of bearing race and roller failure. Contents are small shiny
chips. If final drive, check differentials magnetic plug and vise versa to ensure the other component is not
the source. Notify Group leader. Close monitoring to continue. OK to return to service after plug is cleaned.

RATING X:
Kerusakan komponen lebih lanjut mengandung jumlah kontaminasi yang sudah tertimbun selama satu
minggu dari pemeriksaan terakhir. Isinya terdiri dari sejumlah pecahan metal dengan serpihan yang kecil
hingga yang besar. Pada final drive, periksa magnetic plug dan sebaliknya guna memastikan bukan
komponen lain yang menjadi sumber. Beritahukan shift leader segera, segera lakukan inspeksi kerusakan
komponen. Jika Group Leader mengijinkan, kembalikan beroperasi untuk waktu yang singkat.

Well-advanced failure of components provided this amount of contaminants has accumulated in one week
since last inspection. Contents will be a heavy covering of metal fragments with small to large chips. If final
drive, check differentials magnetic plug and vise versa to ensure the other component is not the source.
Inform Shift leader immediately, inspection of failing component to be done ASAP.O.K to return to work for a
short period if group leader gives OK.
