Permasalahan gizi kurang dan gizi buruk merupakan permasalahan pokok yang dihadapi bangsa
Indonesia saat ini. Permasalahan gizi pada anak balita ini erat kaitannya dengan pemantauan
pertumbuhan anak yang belum optimal disebabkan pemahaman kader tentang tugasnya di
Posyandu masih kurang. Pendokumentasian KMS sangat penting baik bagi ibu balita maupun
petugas kesehatan karena sebagai media edukasi bagi orang tua balita tentang kesehatan anak
balitanya dan sebagai sarana komunikasi yang dapat digunakan oleh petugas kesehatan untuk
menentukan penyuluhan dan tindakan pelayanan kesehatan gizi serta dapat membantu deteksi
dini adanya penyimpangan tumbuh kembang balita. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan terhadap ketrampilan kader Posyandu dalam pencatatan
KMS balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain penelitian pre- experimental design yaitu one
group pretest- postest design dimana dalam desain initerdapat pretest sebelum diberi perlakuan
sehingga hasil perlakuan dapat diketahui lebihakurat. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam
pengambilan sampel penelitian ini adalah total sampling dan dianalisis menggunakan uji
Paired. Hasil dari uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan hasil p (0,138) > 0,05 yang artinya tidak
ada pengaruh pelatihan terhadap ketrampilan kader Posyandu dalam pencatatan KMS balita,
sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengevaluasi pelatihan pencatatan KMS
pada kader dengan range waktu post tes yang lebih lama serta perlunya melakukan rotasi tugas
kader Poyandu agar setiap kader dapat terampil dalam mengerjakan setiap tugas kader di
Posyandu khususnya pencatatan KMS balita.

The Effectiveness of Training on the Skills of Posyandu Cadres In KMS Toddler Registration
Abstract
The problems with malnutritions are the main problems facing the Indonesian people today.
Nutritional problems in children under five are closely related to child growth monitoring which
is not optimal due to lack of understanding of cadres about their work in Posyandu. KMS
documentation is very important both for toddler’s mothers and health workers because it is an
educational medium for parents of toddlers about the health of their children and as a means of
communication that can be used by health workers to determine counseling and actions of
nutrition health services and can help early detection of deviations in growth and development
toddler. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of training on the skills of Posyandu
cadres in recording KMS toddlers. This study uses a pre-experimental research design that is
one group pretest-posttest design where in this design there is apretest before being treated
so that the results of the treatment can be known more accurately. The sampling technique used
in sampling this study was total sampling and analyzed using Paired test. The results of the
paired sample t-test showed the results of p (0.138)> 0.05, which means that there was no
influence of training on the skills of Posyandu cadres in the recording of toddlers KMS, so further
research was needed to evaluate the KMS recording training for cadres with longer range time
posttests as well as the need to rotate Posyandu cadre duties so that each cadre can be skilled
in carrying out each cadre task at the Posyandu, especially recording toddler KMS.
