ABSTRACT
Biodiesel is a renewable fuel. Because it is climate friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic, and has a lower release rate
than petroleum-based goods, biodiesel has advantages as an alternative fuel. Transesterification is a commonly used
procedure. Because of its capacity to provide high extraction yields, transesterification using alkaline catalysts is a
common process for manufacturing biodiesel. CaO, CaO.SrO, FeCl3, and KOH were utilized as catalysts in this study,
which took into account the duration and amount of biodiesel produced. Biodiesel synthesis from leftover cooking oil
is an alternate method of converting biomass into liquid fuel for a variety of applications.
