ABSTRACT
MEISALINA, NPM 17060013. Thesis Title: "Mapping of Patients Infected with Covid-19 in
Seluma Regency". Thesis of Geography Study Program, Department of Social Sciences, Unihaz
Bengkulu.
The problem raised in this research is unclear information about the Covid-19 mapping data in
the Seluma Regency area. This study aims to determine: (1) the number of patients infected with
Covid-19 in the Seluma Regency area and (2) the zoning status of the Covid-19 spread in the
Seluma Regency area.
The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The population in this study
was 194 people who tested positive for Covid-19. The sample in this study is the entire
population because it uses a total sample. Data collection techniques in this study using
documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study used the percentage method.
After the data is collected and analyzed, the result of this thesis is the zoning status which has
almost the same status every month, namely the yellow zone, except in December 2020 and
January 2021 which have orange zone status. Where in these months the peak of the occurrence
of positive cases of Covid-19 which experienced a fairly high increase, namely 50 positive
people in December 2020 and 54 positive people in January 2021.
