Greeting in English Context

Greeting is the first word you learn. Greeting tell people that you want to communicate
with them. Greeting is one way to maintain good relationship with others. Greeting means
welcoming other people. It can also lead to a conversation. Business greetings or
greetings among strangers are formal. On the other side, greetings among friends and
family members are informal or casual. People usually slow down their activity, smile, or
wave their hands as they greet other people. They will stop doing their activity if they
want to talk more.
Greeting is usually followed by asking condition. It is more likely to maintain relationship.
It is not mainly used to ask condition. At the end of the conversation, people usually have
leave taking expression or say good bye. It is a polite way to end a talk.

3. When do say ‘Thank you”?
4. When do you say “Sorry”?

”Thank you & Sorry”

Simple yet Meaningful
Words

“Thank you” and “Sorry” mean more than just words of politeness. “Thank you”
shows our appreciation toward others. It is polite and it is good to say thank
you for other people good deed and gift. Saying “thank you” shows people that
we trust their good intention in doing or giving something for us. People will
more likely do other kindness in the future when people thank them.
Saying “sorry” means taking responsibility for the mistake we do. People get
hurt or feel sad when we do something wrong to them. Saying” sorry” means we

Saying” sorry” means we
have an intention to do better next time.
