ABSTRACT
In a pandemic, an alternative to meet the food needs of the community is by planting
organic vegetables in the community's yard. One of the irrigation systems for growing
organic vegetables that can be used is simple sprinkler irrigation. But in planting
organic vegetables, it is necessary to take into account the water needs of plants so that
plants can grow optimally and healthy. This research on water needs uses the Blanney
Criddle method and is carried out in the author's yard at the end of November 2021
until the end of December 2021. The results of this study obtained that the theoretical
total water requirement is 44 liters/30 days and the actual total water need is as much
as 44 liters/30 days. 54 liters/30 days, so it can be concluded that the theoretical water
needs have been met.
