• Neurologic deficit (non-progressive)
Neurologic deficit due to primary nerve injury
occurs immediately after injury. In contrast,
ischemic neuropathy is delayed in onset (minutes
to hours).
• Proximity
• History of haemorrhage at seen of accident
• Unexplained hypotension
