pasien ny.ami usia 30 tahun datang ke rumah sakit cabul, Dibawa kerumah sakit pada
hari rabu, 26februari 2020. Ingin menanyakantentang kemoterapi. Sesampainya di rumah
sakit ny.ami bertemu dengan Perawat 1 adalah perawat yang bertugas menangani perawatan
pasien Ny. ami.

Pasien : selamat siang suster, perkenalkan saya ny ami

Perawat I : selamat siang ny ami, saya perawat ari, ada yg bisa saya bantu?

Pasien : begini suster, kemarin saya diberi tahu oleh dokter mengenai penyakit saya,
kemudian disarankan untuk melakukan kemoterapi

Tanpa sengaja dokter dewa datang dan menghampiri perawat dan keluarga Ny ami

Perawat I :maaf dokter ini keluarga ny ami ingin bertemu dengan dokter untuk
menanyakan masalah kemoterapi dokter

Suami : saya dan istri saya masih belum begitu mengerti mengenai apa itu kemoterapi
dok, jadi saya kesini ingin mencari informasi kepada dokter
dokter : ohh jadi seperti ini, baiklah akan saya jelaskan mengenai kemo terapinya
tersebut, tapi sebaiknya kita ke ruangan konsultasi supaya lebih nyaman dan
lebih tenang, mari ikut saya

pasien : baik dok,

Sudah masuk ruang konsultasi …

Perawat II : bapak dan adik silakan duduk, Untuk ibu ingin berbaring di bed atau duduk?

Pasien : saya duduk saja suster

Perawat II : baik ibu

Dokter : Baiklah ibu bapak langsung kita mulai yaa, kemoterapi disini diartikan
sebagai suatu metode untuk membunuh atau menghambat perkembangan sel
kanker dengan memasukkan zat-zat kimia tertentu ke dalam tubuh penderita
kanker. Tujuan utama kemoterapi adalah menumpas sel kanker hingga bagian
akarnya yang tidak dapat dijangkau oleh pisau bedah. Kemoterapi juga
berfungsi sebagai pengontrol sel kanker supaya tidak berkembang biak secara
liar.

Anak : bagaimana cara pengobatnnya dok?

Perawat III : Permisi dokter, maaf mengganggu ada pasien yang harus segera diperiksa di
kamar 7

Dokter : baik sus, saya segera kesana, mohon maaf ibu bapak untuk tindakannya akan
dijelaskan oleh perawat Sita, saya permisi terlebih dahulu untuk memeriksa
pasien

Anak ibu bapak : baik terimakasih dokter

perawat II : baik ibu kemoterapi bisa dilakukan melalui pemberian obat tablet atau
kapsul, Melalui suntikan atau injeksi, Melalui infuse, kemudian Frekuensi
pemberian kemoterapi pada pasien sangat tergantung dari jenis, stadium dan
tingkat kanker yang diderita

Pasien : Apa saja efek samping yang mungkin terjadi suster?

Perawat II : Saya akan sampaikan beberapa efek samping yang mungkin terjadi dari
pemberian kemoterapi ini, selain mampu menghancurkan sel-sel kanker,
 kemoterapi juga akan mempengaruhi sel-sel tubuh kita yang normal, mungkin
bapak nanti akan mengalami mual muntah, merasa letih dan lesu, terjadi
masalah pendengaran,rambut akan sedikit rontok, terjadi penurunan berat
badan dan diare

Suami : kalau begitu bukannya kondisi istri saya menjadi semakin parah ya sus??

Perawat III : Ibu tidak perlu khawatir karena dokter akan memberikan obat untuk
meminimalisir efek samping kemoterapi hingga tubuh tidak akan mengalami
efek buruk secara maksimal seperti yang tadi saya jelaskan.. Lagipula efek
samping kemoterapi bersifat sementara. Setelah kemoterapiselesai, maka
tubuh anda akan kembali membaik dan berfungsi secara normal.

Pasien : baik suster terimakasih atas informasinya

suami : Kapan kira-kira istri saya bisa dilakukan terapi sus
Perawat III : semakin cepat semakin baik ibu, ibu harus tabah kuat dan banyak berdoa
untuk kesembuhan ibu, dan bapak juga harus tetap memberi dukungan kepada
istri bapak
suami : baik suster terimakasih,
Perawat II : ada yang ingin ibu atau bapak tanyakan kembali
Pasien : sudah cukup suster terimakasih banyak, kami permisi pulang dulu
Perawat II : sama-sama ibu, selamat pagi.

Dengan diberikannya pengertian dan pemahaman terkait tindakan pada pasien

kemoterapi tersebut maka keluarga mau menerima kembali perawatan lanjutan dan kembali
percaya terhadap dokter juga perawat dalam menangani kasus yang dialami oleh pasien yang
berusia 30 tahun tersebut.
