Mata kuliah ini diberikan pada semester V dengan bobot 2 sks
yang diberikan 2 jam pertemuan per-minggu, selama 16
minggu/semeter. Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Bisnis merupakan
lanjutan dari mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Teknik yang isinya
Deskripsi Singkat berupa pemahaman dan pengetahuan terhadap Bahasa Inggris
Mata Kuliah dalam bidang Teknik Sipil. Materi yang akan dibahas yaitu
mengenai bagaimana proses berkomunikasi dalam menawarkan
produk material dan perumahan kepada pelanggan, melakukan
tender, dan melaporkan kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam Bahasa
Inggris.

Deskripsi Perkuliahan:

Mata kuliah ini diberikan pada semester V dengan bobot 2 sks yang diberikan 2 jam
pertemuan per-minggu, selama 16 minggu/semeter. Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Bisnis
merupakan lanjutan dari mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Teknik yang isinya berupa
pemahaman dan pengetahuan terhadap Bahasa Inggris dalam bidang Teknik Sipil.
Materi yang akan dibahas yaitu mengenai bagaimana proses berkomunikasi dalam
menawarkan produk material dan perumahan kepada pelanggan, melakukan tender,
dan melaporkan kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam Bahasa Inggris.
Relevansi Mata Kuliah:

Menguasai prinsip dan teknik berkomunikasi (lisan, tulisan, dan grafis) dengan bahasa
Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris.

Metode/strategi Pembelajaran:
Ceramah, tutorial, diskusi/brain storming, diskusi kelompok, dan presentasi.

Tugas-tugas:

a. Menyusun dokumen tender dalam Bahasa Inggris

Kriteria dan Bobot Penilaian:


Penilaian dilakukan berdasarkan ujian tertulis, lisan, evaluasi terhadap proses
pembelajaran, tugas, dan unjuk sikap dengan komponen sebagai berikut:
 Kuis : 15%,
 Tugas Individu : 15 %,
 Tugas Kelompok : 10 %,
 Presentasi : 10%,
 Uts : 15%,
 UAS : 20 dan
 Prilaku / Sikap : 15%.

Nilai terkait dengan Standar Penilaian digunakan sistem Penilaian Acuan Patokan
(PAP). Hasil evaluasi dikategorikan sebagai berikut :

Tata tertib :

1. Mahasiswa diwajibkan menggunakan seragam jurusan pada waktu mengikuti


perkuliahan di kelas sesuai aturan yang berlaku.
2. Mahasiswa tidak diperkenankan memakai sandal baik waktu mengikuti perkuliahan
maupun pada waktu praktik, atau menghadap dosen untuk bimbingan maupun
konsultasi akademik.
3. Pada waktu perkuliahan semua handphone harus dalam keadaan mati/silent.
4. Keterlambatan masuk di kelas hanya diizinkan maksimal 15 menit dari jadwal.
Lewat dari batas tersebut mahasiswa boleh masuk tapi tidak mendapat presensi.
5. Tidak diperkenakan melakukan keributan di kelas dalam bentuk apapun selama
perkuliahan berlangsung, kecuali pada saat diskusi.
6. Mahasiswa wajib hadir sesuai dengan pedoman pendidikan PNB
7. Tidak ada ujian susulan untuk UTS dan UAS, kecuali dengan alasan jelas.
8. Hasil evaluasi mahasiswa wajib dikembalikan kepada mahasiswa 1 minggu setelah
ujian berakhir.
9. Protes nilai dilayani paling lama 1 minggu setelah nilai keluar
