Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe some of the problems that make Indonesian
subjects less attractive to students and how to solve them. This study used descriptive
qualitative method. This data collection technique is by reading it over and over again
and taking notes. The results of this study are learning problem factors that come from
within the students themselves, namely students who are lazy in learning, busy with
themselves and their friends, and do not pay attention to the teacher's explanation.
Factors originating from the school environment include the lack of facilities that
support students in learning, as well as the lack of additional intensive guidance for
students. Solutions to these problems were found, the first of which was the educator's
solution to the character of the students and the facility solution.
