Tujuan Penelitian

Mengetahui profil kemampuan menulis kalimat
tanya siswa kelas 2 sekolah dasar di SDN 048
Sirnamanah.

Menganalisis secara komprehensif pelaksanaan

berbantu video animasi pada pembelajaran

Manfaat Teoritis
Manfaat teoritis dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan sumbangan ilmu pengetahuan yang berhubungan
dengan pembelajaran keterampilan kalimat tanya pada sekolah dasar.

Penelitian ini membantu dan meningkatkan ranah psikomotor siswa dalam menulis kalimat tanya.
b. Bagi Guru
Penelitian ini dijadikan sebagai acuan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan model
pembelajaran yang inovatif serta efektif, efisien dan optimal.
c. Bagi Sekolah
Bagi sekolah, penelitian ini sebagai cerminan pentingnya melakukan inovasi dalam pembelajaran
yang akan datang juga meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa dalam berprestasi di sekolah.
d. Bagi Peneliti
Bagi peneliti, penelitian ini menambah wawasan dan pengalaman langsung tentang cara
meningkatkan kemampuan cara mengajarkan keterampilan menulis bagi anak sekolah dasar
melalui metode pembelajaran Inkuiri berbantu video animasi.
e. Bagi Pembaca
Bagi pembaca, penelitian ini menambah wawasan maupun acuan untuk meningkatkan
kreativitas dalam mengajar di sekolah dasar dan sebagai motivasi pembelajaran.
 Definisi Operasional
1. Model Inkuiri dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran yang
menjadikan bagian inti dari kegiatan pembelajaran yang berbasis
kontekstual dimana siswa diharapkan memiliki keterampilan berpikir
dari hasil menemukan sendiri.

2. Media video animasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ambar bergerak

yang terdiri dari beberapa objek yang disusun sedemikian rupa
sehingga menjadi sebuah video atau film yang dapat membantu
belajar siswa.

3. Kemampuan keterampilan menulis kalimat tanya dalam penelitian ini

adalah keterampilan siswa dalam menulis kalimat tanya,
berdasarkan kaidah penulisan kalimat tanya yang diawali dengan
suatu kata tanya seperti apa, siapa, kapan, dimana, mengapa dan
bagaimana.

4. Kelas 2 sekolah dasar dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas 2 di Sekolah

Dasar Negeri 048 Sirnamanah.
 Kajian Teoritis
1.Kajian Teori tentang Model Pembelajaran Inquiri
Menurut Majid (2013) pembelajaran inkuiri mengajak siswa untuk secara langsung terlibat proses
ilmiah dalam jangka waktu yang relatif singkat. Inkuiri merupakan bentuk dari pendekatan
pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada siswa (Student centered approach).

Menurut Sanjaya (2008), ciri-ciri model Inkuiri sebagai berikut:

1) Model pembelajaran menekankan pada aktivitas siswa secara maksimal dalam mencari dan
menemukan konsep.

1. Kajian Teori tentang Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri
Langkah-langkah Pembelajaran
1) Mengajukan pertanyaan
Kegiatan inkuiri dimulai dari permasalahan yang diajukan.
Pada tahap ini guru membimbing siswa mengidentifikasi
masalah dan mengelompokan siswa. Guru memberikan
suatu fenomena dan mengajukan permasalahan.
3) Merancang percobaan
Guru memberikan kesempatan pada siswa untuk
menentukan langkah-langkah yang sesuai dengan
hipotesis yang akan dilakukan. Guru membimbing
siswa mengurutkan langkah-langkah percobaan.
5) Mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data
Guru memberikan kesempatan pada tiap kelompok
untuk menyampaikan hasil pengolahan data yang
terkumpul.
2) Merumuskan hipotesis
Hipotesis adalah jawaban sementara atas pertanyaan atau
solusi permasalahan yang dapat diuji dengan data. Guru
memberikan kesempatan pada siswa untuk memberi
pendapat dalam membentuk hipotesis.
4) Melakukan percobaan
Guru membimbing siswa mendapatkan informasi
melalui percobaan.
6) Membuat Kesimpulan
Langkah penutup dari pembelajaran inkuiri adalah
membuat kesimpulan sementara berdasarkan data
yang diperoleh.

teknologi sebagai alat yang membantu proses
pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video
animasi. Media pembelajaran ini menggunakan

laptop, tape, dan layar proyektor dengan menampilkan
sebuah video yang merekonstruksi suatu peristiwa atau
objek.

Metode dan Desain Penelitian
Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menjawab
rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Mix Method.
Metode ini dipilih sesuai dengan karakteristik pertanyaan
penelitian yang hendak dijawab meliputi outcomes dan proses
yang menggabungkan hasil analisis data kuantitatif dan
kualitatif. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian
yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Model
Pembelajaran Inkuiri berbantu Video Animasi untuk
Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Kalimat Tanya pada
Siswa Kelas 2 Sekolah Dasar Negeri 048 Sirnamanah Kota
Bandung.
Adapun desain yang digunakan adalah sequensial
eksplanatory. Desain ini digunakan karena penelitia ingin
mendapatkan data secara kuantitatif terlebih dahulu dan
diikuti penjelasan data kualitatif.
Subjek Penelitian

Berikut yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas

2 sekolah dasar yang berlokasi di SDN 048 Sirnamanah di
wilayah Kecamatan Sukajadi, Kota Bandung dengan
jumlah 78 orang siswa.
Subjek penelitian ini dipilih dengan dasar karakteristik:
1) siswa belum sepenuhnya terampil dalam menulis
kalimat tanya;
2) 2) guru belum menerapkan metode pembelajaran
Inkuiri.
 Instrumen Penelitian
1.Nontes
a. Wawancara dilakukan kepada guru kelas 2, untuk memperoleh
data profil pembelajaran keterampilan menulis kalimat tanya di
SDN 048 Sirnamanah dan kendala-kendala yang dihadapi pada
saat pembelajaran.
b. Observasi terhadap keterampilan menulis tanda tanya, untuk
memperoleh data hasil belajar peningkatan keterampilan
menulis kalimat tanya pada siswa kelas 2.
c. Studi dokumentasi terhadap kurikulum 2013 hasil studi empiris
para ahli untuk memperoleh data terkait penyusunan perangkat
pembelajaran yang akan digunakan dalam keterampilan
menulis kalimat tanya siswa kelas 2.
d. Pemberian angket/kuesioner kepada guru dan siswa, untuk
memperoleh data terkait respon keterampilan menulis kalimat
tanya siswa kelas 2.

kalimat tanya.

Tahapan penelitian mengikuti tahapan penelitian The Sequential
Explanatory Desain. Adapun Langkah-langkahnya dijelaskan
sebagai berikut.

3. Mengumpulkan data dan menganalisis data kuantitatif yaitu
data kemampuan keterampilan menulis kalimat tanya dan

4. Menguji hipotesis.
5. Mengumpulkan data dan menganalisis data kualitatif terkait
profil pembelajaran keterampilan kalimat tanya dan kendala-
kendala yang dihadapi pada saat pembelajaran.
6. Menganalisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif.
7. Merumuskan simpulan dan saran.
 Prosedur Pengolahan Data

Data dalam penelitian ini diolah berdasarkan jenis data yang

terkumpul. Data kuantitatif berupa hasil tes untuk mengukur
efektivitas penggunaan metode Inkuiri untuk meningkatkan
keterampilan menulis kalimat tanya. Data kuantitatif diolah dengan
statistika inferensial menggunakan SPSS.
Sementara itu, data kualitatif berupa hasil observasi dan
wawancara untuk menjawab proses penerapan dan kendala yang
dihadapi guru dilakukan secara sistematis melalui penjabaran
kategori dan sintesis data.
