PENDAHULUAN
1. Apa saja perubahan fisik yang terjadi pada masa dewasa akhir dan bagaimana cara
menjaga kesehatan fisik pada fase ini?
2. Bagaimana perubahan kognitif terjadi pada masa dewasa akhir dan bagaimana cara
mengatasi masalah kognitif pada fase ini?

3.1. Kesimpulan
Masa dewasa akhir kini merupakan fenomena di mana seseorang dianggap
menjauh dari masa lalu, namun menjadi periode di mana sifat-sifat kekanak-kanakan,
keegoisan, dan lain sebagainya dapat kembali muncul dan pasti dimiliki oleh individu
di masa dewasa akhir. Seiring berjalannya waktu dan bertambahnya usia, perubahan
fisik dan psikologis pada seorang lanjut usia semakin jelas terlihat. Masa dewasa akhir
juga dapat dianggap sebagai masa penurunan fungsi fisik, psikologis, dan menurunnya
kinerja sistem otak. Di masa ini, lanjut usia juga menjadi rentan terkena berbagai
macam penyakit yang dapat menyerang tubuh mereka.
Meskipun demikian, masa dewasa akhir juga menjadi periode di mana sifat-sifat
kekanak-kanakan dan keegoisan dapat muncul kembali, yang mungkin disebabkan oleh
perasaan takut dan kecemasan terhadap masa depan serta keterbatasan yang ada pada
diri mereka. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi kita untuk memahami dan menerima
perubahan yang terjadi pada diri kita saat memasuki masa dewasa akhir dan menjaga
kesehatan tubuh serta pikiran untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada. Dengan melakukan
hal ini, kita dapat mengalami masa dewasa akhir dengan tenang dan memperoleh
kebahagiaan di masa tua.
3.2. Saran
Sebagai saran, individu yang memasuki masa dewasa akhir sebaiknya melakukan
tindakan pencegahan terhadap penyakit dan menjaga kesehatan tubuh dan pikiran. Hal
ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengonsumsi makanan yang sehat dan bergizi, berolahraga
secara teratur, serta melakukan aktivitas yang dapat merangsang otak seperti membaca,
menulis, atau bermain puzzle. Selain itu, penting untuk menjaga hubungan sosial yang
baik dengan keluarga dan teman-teman untuk mencegah isolasi sosial yang dapat
menyebabkan depresi atau kecemasan. Selain itu, mempersiapkan diri secara finansial
untuk masa tua juga menjadi hal yang penting agar individu dapat merasa tenang dan
terhindar dari stres keuangan. Dengan melakukan hal-hal tersebut, individu dapat
mengalami masa dewasa akhir dengan tenang dan memperoleh kebahagiaan di masa
tua.
