1. Definition of advertisement
2. Advertisement is a public announcement in a newspaper, television, or
internet advertising something such as a product for sale, services offered
or an event.
3. The writer, below is the generic structure:
1. Purpose: What is the purpose of the writer to compose the
advertisement text?
2. Name of product: This is about name and brand. What product, service
or events to sell?
3. User: Who need the product? What areas the product and service for?
4. Grammar focus
Simple present tense--used for actions in the present.
e.g. The cars are on sale.
5. Kinds of advertisement
Indoor advertisement: press media, radio, television, film, etc.
Outdoor advertisement: poster, travelling display, leaflets, etc.
Direct advertisement: sales letters, booklets and catalogues, package
inserts, store publications, etc.
Promotional advertisement: window display, show-room, magazine, etc.
