 DEFINISI

• Visceral Manipualtion adalah bentuk soft tissue manipulation yang

dilakukan secara lembut, membantu organ interna ke arah fungsi yang
lebih baik, rileksasi tonus, memperbaiki dan meningkatkan gerak organ
interna serta jaringan ikat (otot, membrane, fascia dan osseus)
disekitarnya yang secara fisiologis terganggu.
 TUJUAN

• Visceral Manipulation diterapkan setelah menilai gerak mobilitas dan

gerak motilitas organ interna di deteksi terganggu dan kaitannya dengan
tanda-tanda dan gejala. Dengan metode khusus nan lembut, Visceral
Manipulation berfokus pada organ interna secara langsung untuk
restorasi, normalisasi, melepaskan perlengketan (adhesive/restriktif),
mengembalikan organ ke lokasi yang tepat (mis; karena displacement)
sehingga fungsi mereka tidak terganggu.
 TEHNIK

Visceral Manipulation terbagi atas 3 tahapan, yaitu

• 1) direct technique & recoil
• 2) Indirec technique
• 3) Induction technique

 KONTRAINDIKASI

• Infections
• Benda asing seperti IUD
• Pregnancy
• Post-surgery (min. 4-8 minggu pertama)
• Cancer
• Fever
 DOSIS

Frekuensi Setiap hari (minimal 6 hari berturut-

turut)
Intensitas Deep mobilization selama 5-7 kali
repetisi/organ
Time 9-15 menit/1 kali sesi therapy
