Epidemiologi TB
Thirty high TB burden countries accounted for 87% of the world’s TB
cases in 2022 and two-thirds of the global total was in eight
countries: India (27%), Indonesia (10%), China (7.1%), the Philippines
(7.0%), Pakistan (5.7%), Nigeria (4.5%), Bangladesh (3.6%) and the
Democratic Republic of the Congo (3.0%).

Respon Th1 predominan berkaitan dengan proteksi, sedangkan Th2 dan Treg predominan telah dihubungkan dengan penyakit
berat dan diseminasi. Keseimbangan respon imun tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti: ko-infeksi (termasuk
infestasi cacing), CMV, hepatitis, malaria, measles, dll.

Pemeriksaan bakteriologis merujuk pada pemeriksaan apusan dari sediaan biologis (dahak atau
spesimen lain), pemeriksaan biakan dan identifikasi M. tuberculosis dengan TCM.

•Limit deteksi pada ZN: 500-10000 bakteri/ml sputum

DETERMINE TB LAM AG

Rapid Rule-in TB-HIV co-infection

The Determine TB LAM Ag test is rapid test (POCT) detects the LAM antigen
(lipoarabinomannan) in urine samples to screen for active TB in HIV positive
patients, providing results in just minutes.

A useful tool for detecting sputum smear negative patients.

Diagnose both pulmonary and extra pulmonary TB from one
convenient urine sample. Enhanced power comes through
combination with methods such sputum smear microscopy
or the Xpert® MTB/RIF test. Uses unprocessed urine as the
validated sample type. LAM, lipoarabinomannan, is a
structurally important component of the outer cell wall of
mycobacteria that is shed from metabolically active or
degrading cells, is cleared by the kidney and detectable in
urine. Results in 25 minutes.

semua orang dewasa dan anak-anak dengan tanda dan gejala TB paru.

TB ekstra Paru:
• Bukti akurat pada specimen CSF sebagai tes diagnostik awal meningitis TB.
• Digunakan untuk spesimen aspirasi dan biopsi kelenjar getah bening, cairan
pleura, cairan peritoneum, cairan perikardial, cairan sinovial atau spesimen

Evaluasi pasien meliputi evaluasi klinis, bakteriologi, radiologi, dan efek samping
obat, serta evaluasi keteraturan berobat.

Evaluasi bakteriologis (0 - 2 - 3* - 6 /8 bulan pengobatan)

• Bertujuan untuk mendeteksi ada tidaknya konversi dahak
• Pemeriksaan dan evaluasi pemeriksaan mikroskopis
• Sebelum pengobatan dimulai
• Setelah 2 bulan pengobatan (setelah fase intensif)
