• Jumlah kasus Stroke Iskemik lebih banyak dibandingkan Stroke Perdarahan / Hemorrhagic,
penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan dari 757 sample pasien stroke menunjukkan 58,1%
merupakan pasien stroke iskemik, dan 41,9% merupakan pasien stroke hemorrhagic.
• Pasien stroke iskemik didominasis oleh pasien dengan usia ≥ 60 tahun, namun pada penelitian ini
didapatkan hasil bahwa usia ≥ 60 tidak dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan risiko stroke,
berbeda dengan hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang menjelaskan bahwa peningkatan usia akan
meningkatkan risiko terjadinya stroke.
• Sampel penelitian ini lebih banyak laki-laki, dimana pada penelitian sebellumbnya, laki-laki risiko
terjadinya stroke 1,25 kali lebih tinggi dibandingkan perempuan. Namun pada penelitian ini tidak
ditemukan perbedaan antara subjek pria maupun wanita.
• Lima gejala klinis yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini, sebagai berikut: penurunan kesadaran,
afasia, kelemahan ekstremitas, disartria, dan asimetri wajah. Gejala yang paling sering ditemukan
pada subjek dengan stroke iskemik adalah kelemahan anggota gerak.
• Hasil wawancara dengan 112 subjek penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Hariyanti dkk. (2015)
menyatakan bahwa hemiparese adalah gejala yang paling umum, sehingga kemampuan
mengenali gejala monoparesis sebagai gejala stroke menjadi modal untuk pemberian terapi
stroke sejak dini.
• Gejala penurunan kesadaran berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa gejala
tersebut lebih sering terjadi pada stroke hemorrhagic (pasien dengan perdarahan
intraserebral).
• Gejala afasia lebih sering ditemukan pada pasien dengan stroke hemmorhagic, terdiri atas
afasia Broca, afasia Global, dan afasia Anomik. Namun pada penelitian ini gejala afasia dapat
ditemukan pada kedua jenis stroke (tidak spesifik).
• Pada penelitian ini, disartria lebih sering ditemukan pada pasien dengan stroke iskemik akibat
gangguan sirkulasi posterior.
• Pada penelitian ini, kelemahan otot wajah merupakan gejala yang jarang ditemui pada kedua
jenis stroke dibandingkan gejala kelemahan anggota gerak maupun gangguan bicara.
• Faktor Risiko Stroke Iskemik pada penelitian ini diantaranya Hipertensi, DM2, Dislipidemia, dan
riwayat stroke sebelumnya, namun penelitian lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa faktor risiko yang
paling signifikan terhadap kejadian stroke iskemik adalah riwayat stroke dan dislipidemia.
• Pada penelitian ini juga dijelaskan bahwa hipertensi akan meningkatkan risiko terjadinya stroke
hemorrhagic, dimana tekanan darah >160/90 memiliki risiko 7x lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan
orang dengan tensi normal.
