Lesi kulit kepala dan kuku, serta erosi periorifasal yang sukar
sembuh
Generalized atrophic benign EB (GABEB) merupakan jenis JEB
non herlitz yang muncul pada saat lahir dengan keterlibatan
kutaneous menyeluruh.
Walaupun terbentuk lesung email gigi, karies gigi ekstensif,
dan distropi kuku bisa parah, serta terdapat sedikit
keterlibatan ekstra-kutaneous
Bula sembuh disertai jaringan parut atropi khas
alopesia progresif pada kulit kepala dan rambut terminal
pada suatu hagian di tubuh.

• Terjadi pada saat lahir dengan fenotip pelepuhan yang lebih parah dan luas
dibanding dengan varian Cockayne-Touraine.
• Bula sembuh disertai plak-plak jaringan parut dan milia
• Ditandai dengan penampakan khas papula-papula yang mirip skar yang
khas dan berwarna seperti daging pada trunkus (lesi albopapuloid)
• kuku yang distropi atau kehilangan kuku. Erosi-erosi oral yang tidak ekstensif
disertai kelainan.

- kortikosteroid dosis awal tinggi prednisosn 140-160mg/hari
- Vitamin E 600-2000iu/hari
- Difenilhidantoin 2,5-5,0 mg/kg BB/hari, dosis maksimal 300 mg/hari.

- Antibiotik golongan golongan asam fusidat, mupirosin, polimiksin B gramisidin, dan.silver sulfadizine yang diberikan
sehabis andi
Prognosis EB sangat tergantung pada subtipe penyakit yang timbul. Kebanyakan
pasien EB, terutama mereka dengan EBS dan DDEB, memiliki harapan hidup yang
normal, namun morbiditas yang signifikan dapat mempersulit untuk beberapa
pasien. Sebaliknya, pasien dengan JEB, terutama mereka yang JEB-H, berada
pada risiko utama kematian selama beberapa tahun pertama kehidupan, dan
pasien dengan RDEB, terutama mereka dengan RDEB umum yang parah, berada
pada risiko kematian pada saat lahir atau setelah dewasa muda dari metastasis
karsinoma sel skuamosa
